We don't work for ourselves, We work for the horses and our mission is to get them to their destinations healthy and safely. We are dedicated to bringing real time communication between owner and transporter along all and any journey, short or long distance. Our goal is to bring peace of mind, trust and a positive transport experience to our clients.

  • Founder

    Rakel has worked tirelessly for 10 years being responsible for the health and fitness of internationally competing polo horses in both Palm Beach, FL and Santa Barbara California, competing at the highest level of sport in the U.S. She is a former equine vet tech and equine nutraceutical business manager of an international livestock and equine nutraceutical company. Rakel received her Bachelors in International Business from Florida International University with a Masters in Sustainability from UF. Combining her professional experience with her education, she decided to start a first class equine transport service venture backed by a world of experience, passion, heart, mind and hard work.

  • Chief of Operations

    Born and raised in the horsemanship capital of the world, Argentina, I have had more than 15 years of experience being responsible for the care, fitness, organization, logistics and success of more than 50 polo horses competing in the Argentine Open, The US Open, The Queens Cup in England and The Gold Cup in Soto Grande, Spain. I have managed logistics for private clubs and organized transport in Argentina, Colombia and The Dominican Republic. I have cofounded Trotamundos with passion, capability and experience with the driving mission of displaying these three qualities in every client experience we deliver.
